The very Rev. Dr. James Simpson, Rev. Peter Thomson, Rev. James wallace, Rev. Derek Lawson & Rev. Douglas Main.

On the evening of the 22nd April 2009 a particularly happy evening was held in our church. This was the Induction service for the Rev. James K. Wallace MA BD STM.

After a vacancy lasting more than two years we were absolutely delighted to be joining with our friends from our newly linked charge of St John's Kirk  in order to meet Mr. Wallace & his family.

The evening commenced at 7 p.m. with a service organised & conducted by the Presbytery of Perth.

At 8.p.m. we adjourned into the hall where the 300 strong congregation were fed sandwiches, cakes & copious cups of tea, after which we returned to the church to round off our evening with members of both congregations welcoming the Wallaces to Perth. There was also humour aplenty provided by various speakers.

It was extremely happy evening and we look forward to working with Mr. Wallace in the months & years ahead to further God's work through our congregation.
